5-2442 offers all the advantages of a standard 220 1/8″ x 1/16″ MOR construction but incorporates two additional monofilament plies to significantly increase cross rigidity. This added stiffness provides excellent lateral stability, making the belt ideally suited for sidewall fabrication where a firm, stable base is essential for reliable sidewall adhesion and long-term performance.

Because of its enhanced cross-rigid design, 220 1/8″ x 1/16″ CR-MOR is not recommended for troughing conveyor applications. Instead, it serves as a highly effective base belt for sidewall conveying systems used in steep incline, vertical lift, and bulk material handling. The MOR (Moderate Oil Resistant) compound provides additional protection in environments with incidental exposure to oils, resins, or process lubricants.
