Marriage Crumbles, Mulhern Belt Remains Strong

Kansas City, MO — As a symbol of eternal love Conny and Ed’s wedding day included something special: an Endless Belt from Mulhern Belting.
“Other couples get matching tattoos or doves,” Ed recalled. “We got industrial belting made endless. We were serious.”

While their love frayed under the weight of dirty laundry, passive-aggressive texts, and poorly assembled IKEA furniture, the Mulhern Belt stayed true—looped forever in perfect tension.
“Sometimes I’d just stare at it while Ed was yelling about dishwasher pods,” Conny whispered. “That belt never gave up. Unlike us.”

Twelve years later, amid divorce papers and therapy co-pays, the belt remains: uncut, unyielding, unbothered. The only thing left to decide is who gets the belt.
“We thought we were Endless but turns out we were plain old Cut Ends,” Ed sighed. “But the belt from Mulhern Belting? A thing of beauty. It’s endless. That belt is mine.”
